best irobot Rated Roomba Vacuums

This Roomba is one of the best roomba vacuum rated vacuums available. It is the most powerful AI obstacle-avoidance system of any vacuum we've tested. It also has mopping features with dual rubber brushes, which are less likely to cause tangles than bristle brushes.

It utilizes random navigation (or bumps) instead of the vSLAM. This takes longer, but ensures that every room is cleaned. It has an extended battery life and is effective on carpet and hardwood floors.

1. Roomba i3+ EV

The i3+ EVO features a chic matte gray finish on its top, which resembles fabric and reduces fingerprints. Its smart mapping technology uses advanced sensors to create an image of your home that helps it clean each rooms and avoid obstacles. The iRobot App lets you customize your cleaning preferences and provide suggestions based on the season as well as your home and even your personal preferences. (For instance it might suggest using it more often during the season of allergies). The high-efficiency filter on the robot's filtration system traps 99 percent allergens, such as dust mites, mold, dog and cat hair and pollen. It also features edge-sweeping and cliff sensors and four brushes (including two long, multi-surface brushes as well as one side brush) and floor trackers to keep the robot on its intended path.

During our testing, the i3+ EVO was able to clean our floors quickly and efficiently. It was able to easily go from carpets to rugs and then back. It struggles to vacuum pet hair from carpets and could not be the best choice for those who want their robot to completely replace their vacuum cleaner. It's also not as powerful obstacles avoiding capabilities of premium Roombas such as the j7+ or s9+, which can make it more susceptible to slipping into pet waste on flooring and spread it across.

2. Roomba J7+

This is one of the top robot vacuums for those who have a mix of hard flooring and carpet. Its most distinctive feature is its obstacle detection, which cleverly avoids cords, furniture legs, and even pet debris. It also does a excellent job of cleaning hard floors and removing long hairs that get stuck in the brush.

In contrast to other robots, unlike other robots, the Roomba j7+ can adjust its suction power. It can be done through the app, which features scheduling and map editing that works well, as does the section of your favorites for your most frequent cleaning tasks. The j7+ is also pretty quiet, especially on the higher flooring options and it does an excellent job of keeping up with manual vacuuming.

iRobot’s higher-end bots are known to perform better than their lower-end counterparts. In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was able pick up more dirt on hard and carpeted surfaces. It also did better in crevices. The only issue was that it performed less well in the longer human hair test which is a common test for all robots.

The j7+ comes with a self-emptying Clean Base that will automatically transfer dirt from the bin into dirt bags when it docks. This reduces the requirement for manual maintenance and is great for allergy sufferers. The j7+ can also be connected to the iRobot Braava Jet M-Series robot mop through its Imprint Link functionality and will then automatically restart mopping once the vacuuming has been completed.

3. Roomba i7+

The i7+ is an interesting machine to observe. It follows a logistical pattern similar to how a lawn-care professional trims a field prior to an event. At times it will return to its dock to empty out its bin of dust or recharge its batteries. This self-emptying feature is an excellent change from the way robot vacuums work, and also reduces the need for hands-on maintenance.

It also has a large deal of suction power that can pull dirt and pet hair with ease. It is able to pick up the majority of dirt on carpets with a high pile in only one swipe. It can also identify areas that are prone to traffic and spend more time in those areas. This is especially helpful for families with pets or children who bring in a lot of debris from the outside.

Smart Mapping is another great feature. It lets the i7+ to understand the layout of your house and create a floor plan that you can personalize while it vacuums. After four one-hour sessions the i7+ was able navigate my two-bedroom apartment effectively and logically. You can further modify the mapping using the app by adding virtual boundaries and giving rooms names. This means you can schedule the i7+ to sweep around the cat's litter tray each morning or avoid the sofa in the living room after everyone has gone to go to bed.

The i7+ comes with a sidebrush and an squeegee that is free of tangles that are perfect to pick up any debris that might otherwise fall to the ground. It also has a battery that has Recharge and Resume Technology that lets it take over the place it left off in an earlier cleaning session.

4. Roomba 694

The 694 is a great entry-level robot that is ideal for anyone who wants to make their home cleaner, without the advanced automation features that the higher-end models have. It learns about your habits for cleaning to suggest schedules, and works with Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants that allow you to begin a cleaning session with just one click, and can be operated using the newest irobot app.

Its dual multi-surface brushes pick dirt and grime from carpet and hard floors and an edge-sweeping brush takes care of edges and corners. The battery will last for 90 minutes, and it docks back to the Home Base when it runs out.

The Roomba 694 does a great job at navigating floors with no carpet and sucks up large debris like rice and cereal, though it struggles with fine particles like baking soda and tends to overflow the dirt compartment when it fills up. It doesn't do as well on low-pile carpet, but it still gets higher scores than other robot vacuums in this price range.

It is very effective at cleaning hair from pets. However, some hairs may get caught around the side brush. The poor performance of the 694 on cat litter is also a cause of concern, even though it scored the same as most other robots within this class. It topped our top pick (the Roborock S4 Max) by 19 points. The 694 is a bit more than the eufy RoboVac 30C, but it is more durable, requires less maintenance, has a lower cost of operation, charges more quickly, and performs better on high-pile and bare floors. It has a larger bin and is able to be used without internet connectivity.

5. Eufy 11s

The eufy 11s is among of the most affordable robot vacuums on the market and is a great pick if you need an easy-to-use and reliable machine. It's able to pick up dust, pet hair, and other debris from hard and low-pile floors. It also does a great job of moving around furniture and obstacles. Its slim profile is ideal for reaching underneath low-clearance couches or coffee tables and other furniture, and it's also one of the quietest robovacs that we've test-driven.

But that's about it It's one of the most minimalist models we've seen, and it's lacking certain features that are found on more expensive models. It doesn't come with an app so you'll need to manually set the schedule by using the remote control. It does not have a battery level or dust bin alert. You'll have to manually empty the dustbin when necessary.

This model is robust and easy to maintain despite its low price. It has a long battery lifespan, and it performs well on floors that are unfinished as well as around obstacles. In our tests it was able to overcome obstacles with low levels, such as electrical cords better than the Roomba 694 or Shark Ion robots, but it was unable to climb over high-pile carpets.

While the eufy 11s is superior to the ONSON GOOVI F007 we suggest a more premium option if you can afford it.
