Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a great option if you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that can be used as car seat carrier. It features a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's simple to push, and it feels solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation for being the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as for jet-setters. This is thanks to its super nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in the overhead baggage of an aircraft. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents looking for a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. 3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also has a multi-position reclining seat and an adult cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than many of the other strollers of a similar price we tested, but it's still not the most comfortable to maneuver over uneven ground or through doorways that are narrow. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together with an average manual and no components required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential in a double stroller. They include a large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to accommodate infants from birth until around 3.5 years old, and can be converted into a seat and carrycot in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in-car-base and a reversible car seat.

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle all day bumps and doorways easily.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position or swivel. This is useful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel while walking along an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt slightly more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is known for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler jogging pushchairs, but they also have a wide assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It is easy to use and folds up small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other things.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It's got a few notable features, including the ability to flip the seat between parent and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our test driver found it easy to push and was able to manoeuvre it through narrow streets with ease.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It is also able to stand and be carried by trolley for easier transport in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes with a travel system equipped with the ability to add a car seat and a carrycot with the adaptors included. The brakes have a single lightweight stroller action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair with buggy board pushchair is extremely easy to use and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also light and durable. The seat can be reclined into many positions and has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors, which can be fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned so that they face each other. They can also be set to face the parents. This should lessen sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big tray for gears with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also has a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents that like to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers for running that you can buy for your child. It folds up compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and is available in multiple languages.
