The reason it doesn't run above 6000 RPM is probably because I had the Ape's CDI attached.

It's not surprising that I have an allergic reaction when I attach a CDI for a domestic Honda engine to a Chinese engine. (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

Remove the Ape 100's CDI.

The coupler needs to be converted, so the wiring is bulky.

Replacing is easy, just remove the coupler and replace it.
