If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles as a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's easy to push, and it feels solid when walking along woodland paths and kerbs. It's also easy to fold.

The Xplore has two canopies that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that is not as large or deep as other wagons, so it may not be suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to maneuver, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of push and turn it performed better than most of the other strollers that we tried, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It's lacking some features that we consider essential in double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position or swivel. This is helpful in rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to rotate on our walk along a stony path. It handled this reasonably well, although it seemed slightly bumpier.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also have a wide range of 4-wheeler strollers. City Tour 2 is their most loved model. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain. It's easy to move even with two children and a shopping bag.

The carrycot and the seat both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, in contrast to other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a big basket that's big enough to hold an infant's changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to take a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next
