Path of Exile Item Upgrading

In Path of Exile, item upgrading is one of the Best item upgrader ways to improve your equipment without relying on large-ticket drops or trade. This article will teach you how to upgrade your gear.

Upgrades to equipment provide an increase in the item's stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components can make your armour and weapons better. They can be found by destroying enemies, buying them from karma sellers or finding them in the form of item-spheres. They can also be rescued from equipment with them, or through the highest-quality salvage kits such as the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool. Upgrade components are not destroyed when they are removed from an item.

Upgrade components are mostly used to upgrade an item, but they can also be used for other reasons. They can be stacked to boost the value of an upgradeable item or they can be used to boost the experience gained by upgrading an existing weapon or piece of equipment. They can be made for extra bonuses. A crafted glyph can increase the chance of upgrading its target, and an upgrade boosts the attack or defense attributes of weapons.

Selecting an upgrade template in the GUI will let you bind it to an item. This will display an upgrade component list that the item can be upgraded to. Each component has a unique experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item gains when upgraded using that component. For instance, organic components have a a higher experience multiplier than mechanical ones. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade with organic components until you have reached the experience multiplier of the next level of the weapon or gear, and then change to mechanical upgrades.

Each item upgrader has a maximum upgrade number that it is possible to receive. The number of items that are upgradeable is determined by their upgradeable rank, and the kind of upgrade they can get. The highest level of upgrade is a weapon that is the tier 10. However, the most commonly used upgrade for weapons is a tier 6 weapon and an armor upgrade of tier 5.

Sets
